PROFILE

Patrick Hartley was born in New Zealand.

Simply put, he knows about gravity merely by reputation. If you want to find Patrick, look to the rooftops, and the fire escapes of downtown Seattle. Patrick is also a cartoonist, with a published graphic novel called Noir coming out in late August.

Currently, Patrick is training night and day to become a great traceur, which is his ultimate goal these days.

Hitting up the gymnastics gym in about 12 hours with Angel and Mike.

Additionally, and on a non-parkour note, Ghostbusters is amazing.

I just registered with WAPK, and I'm currently talking to Tyson Cecka on AIM.

This is awesome.

Plans

So, things have gone great so far, at least by my standards they have.

I know I'm not subtle.

I know that, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. Like, being painfully transparent can be somewhat endearing, at least that's what I think. I don't know, the whole thing is probably going to fall apart at some point but whatever. Life is for living. It's not like I'll lose friends over this.

Speaking of friends, I've made some awesome new ones in the last few weeks. They make me very happy.

Peace out for now, I'm going to go try and find something to do for 48 hours.

Well, I'm off for a job interview at EB Games. That would be a totally sweet hookup.

And, the video shoot is TONIGHT, just as a reminder you guys. And happy birthday to Mormon!

Fuck, dude.

Today was not my favorite day ever.

I got fired, the wife's phone is dead, (so is Mormon's grandma, RIP) and now I have to go blow off some steam in the nearest gym.

Fuckin' a. Now I'll probably end up working at EB Games, or Express, or something.

Bloody Work

So, today at work things got a tad messy. We made an apprehension, and it got bloody, and after the perpetrator had been taken into custody, we spent a good hour and a half cleaning up his blood around half the store.
Stupid jerk, trying to cut open a GPS unit with a razor blade.

In other news, saw Lizzie today for the first time in ... months, actually.

Wow, it's been a while.

My ankle hurts.

Anyways, right now I need to be sleeping. It is pitch black. I am likely to be eaten by a grue.

Later y'all.

So, after much arguing over the superiorities of the 360 versus the PS3, David and I decided to settle our differences in the ancient, time-honored way of combat.

We jumped on top of his car, idled it down a hill, and duelled with baseball bats on the roof the entire way down. Eventually we were stopped.....by a tree. This ended our escapade rather effectively.

In other news, Mormon, Kris, Jordan, Randall and I are meeting up at Lake Forest Park Elementary on Tuesday around 8 PM to film some more parkour stunts, so anyone who is interested in joining us, feel free. The usual disclaimer, we are not responsible for incouraging you to hurt yourselves, blah blah blah.

NEWS

Patrick is out of commission for a while, as of 4:15 PM, Sunday August 12 following a severe injury to his lower back.

He was performing a backflip and his rotation was too fast; he overshot the landing and impaled the small of his back on a spike coming off a fence.

He wants everyone to know that sadly no, he didn't get it on camera, but it looked cool as fuck, and he'll be back on the streets soon.
